The Albion Beatnik Bookstore website (or how to change a light bulb in a tight space on a ladder)

The web page of the Albion Beatnik Bookstore, based once in Oxford, then Sibiu, always neo-bankrupt, now closed for business: atavistic and very analogue, its musings and misspells on books and stuff.

Sandspout issue 3 / May 2017

£4.00

Even with the improved gutter and margin it’s difficult still to open up without breaking the spine but it’s only a magazine; the font size is slightly bigger so even old fogeys can read it now without their ear trumpets. Am jolly grateful to all who contributed. Cartoons by Andrew Kay, book cover designs by Stella Shakerchi, and some excellent writing:

Contributions from Eleanor Rees, Mark Mayes, Kelley Swain, Yvonne Eller, Charles Foster, Michael Horovitz, Heathcote Williams, James Benmore, Kristin Grogin, April Elisabeth Pierce, D.A. Adamson, Sarah Milne Das, Jenny Lewis and others.

158pp, A5 paperback format, colour illustrations, £4.00
